Our life at Christ Church is centered in worship. We welcome all to join us and to participate in Communion.

Typical Sunday During School Year

Below you will find a brief description of a typical Sunday at Christ Church during the school year (after Labor Day through May).

Note that Child Care is not provided on holidays or vacation weekends. Children’s Chapel and Church School does not meet on holiday or vacation weekends. Check our calendar.

8:15 a.m. Holy Eucharist

Simple, spoken service with scripture, sermon, and communion in the Chapel.

9:30 a.m. Child Care

Babysitting for infants and toddlers in nursery on lower level. (Keep in mind that young babies and children are welcome in all services). Provided through end of 10:00 a.m. service.

9:45 a.m. Children’s Chapel

Age-appropriate service for pre-schoolers through 2nd graders. Includes Bible story, service with participation of children, and activity. Parents may attend with children or join the 10:00 a.m. service.  Children join their families in the sanctuary for Communion around 10:45 a.m.

9:45 a.m. Church School

Church School classes for 3rd-5th graders and 6th-7th graders in classrooms on lower level.  Children join their families in the sanctuary for Communion around 10:45 a.m.

10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist

Service with scripture, sermon, communion and healing ministry. Accompanying organist and Christ Church Choir.

11:15 a.m. Coffee Hour

Coffee and conversation in Upper Parish Hall after 10:00 a.m. service.

5:30 p.m. Simple Sunday Service

Service with scripture, sermon, hymns, prayers and communion in the Chapel.

School Year Office Hours

During the school year, the Christ Church Office is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
