The Giving Tree is up in the Memorial Room! Please take a tag from the tree, sign up on the table next to the tree, make your purchase, and return your gifts to church and place under the Giving Tree by Sunday, December 17. (Tags/Greeting Cards, are not necessary, but are there for you if you would like one.)
Shepherd House
Women’s Winter Care Packages: These are bags of necessary items for the guests living at Shepherd House, a program for women in recovery run by Victory Programs. The items we include in each bag are: hat, scarf, gloves/mittens, toothpaste and toothbrush, lip gloss, body/hand lotion and shampoo. You may add anything else to the bag (lipstick, night gown, jewelry, etc.) that you wish. Each year we receive hand-written thank you notes showing how grateful the women are to receive these wonderful packages of goodies!
Gifts for Children: Please include: $25 Target Gift Card; a Cozy Blanket; a Book. Please place your items in a gift bag, securely taping the gift card to the upper, inside of the bag so it is visible.
Transition House
Gift Cards for Women at Transition House: Transition House is a domestic violence shelter in Cambridge. We will be collecting $25 gift cards to: Target, Old Navy and Amazon.
You may also drop your gifts to Donna Vello (141 Hawthorn Ave) or Alyssa Kence (59 Coolidge Road), both in Needham
