2021-2022 Confirmation Class Picnic
We invite you to explore our confirmation program for 8th graders. Throughout the year our students learn about themselves, their faith, and about serving others. At the end of the 8-month program, students are confirmed at a special service by one of our bishops. Students decide for themselves whether they are ready to confirm their faith.
What does it mean to make a commitment to the Christian faith and the Episcopal Church? We use the “My Faith, My Life” book and curriculum as our guide. Together, we explore topics of Christian responsibility and how our culture relates to Christianity. We also talk about prayer, worship, scripture, the structure of the Episcopal Church, and church history. During discussions, our adult leaders strive to support, challenge and empower students as they explore their faith and its meaning to them as individuals.
