Beloved Spaces: Something’s Missing in the Chancel

Tuesday, July 14: Today’s episode of Beloved Spaces comes to you from the chancel in the main church. The chancel is the name for the space where the free standing altar lives, the organ console sits, and the choir stalls reside. It’s the place from where the liturgy is led.

It’s undergoing some changes as we reimagine how we worship God in this new era.

Tuesday, July 7: Today’s episode of Beloved Spaces comes to you from the boiler room. Yes, the boiler room. No emergency; just time to give a little love to this lesser known part of our Christian life, who usually gets attention only when it’s not working.

We’re grateful for the faithful pledges which allow us to keep our boiler in good working order. In this way we are ready to love our neighbor, and ourselves, with the warm hospitality of Christ. Check out the boiler room here.
