Participate fully in Lenten offerings

HOLY WEEK SERVICES – Click on Holy Week 2020 Services (1) for a listing of all services, beginning on April 5, Palm Sunday. In late March, we will provide an update regarding when/whether public services will take place at the church. This is due to coronavirus.

LENT-TO-GO BOXES – These boxes contain aids for prayer and reflection during the season of Lent.  They will be available at church for members of the congregation beginning Sunday, March 1. Each kit contains a tiny package of consecrated ashes, prayers, instructions, a battery-operated candle, a mini altar cloth, and a few other surprises!

LENTEN PREACHING SERIES AT CATHEDRAL OF ST. PAUL – We live in an age of widespread violence – physical, verbal, and spiritual. How are people of faith called to respond to, resist, and reverse the scourge of violence in our times? What does Christ call us to do and be, individually and together as the church? This Lent, hear from pastors, clinicians and scholars who are prayerfully engaging with these questions. You are invited to join a brief worship service at 12 pm, at the cathedral (138 Tremont Street, Boston: map), followed by a light lunch and conversation with the preacher. Sign-up is not required. Click here to view a pdf of the speaking schedule.

LIVING WELL THROUGH LENT 2020 – Interested this Lent in learning to live your life with more courage? Of living bravely in a time that calls for us to stand against spiritual, verbal, and physical violence? The daily meditations in this booklet can get us started living with more heart and courage in a time that calls forth our best selves. Pick up a copy in the Upper Parish Hall, in the Narthex of the main church, or in front of the church office. Visit LivingCompass.org/Lent to learn more or to sign-up for daily emails.
