Enjoy Mardi Gras Pancakes/ Untalent Show

We are excited to announce that we will once again be having our annual “Untalent Show” on Sunday, March 3, immediately following the 10 a.m. service.

On this last Sunday before Lent begins, we will enjoy a “Mardis Gras Sunday” celebration, complete with pancakes and fun for all ages. Contact Kristin Auffermann at kauffermann@yahoo.com or 617-797-7710 ot help decorate the remodeled Fellowship Hall. Please consider signing up to share some “untalent” with the rest of us! Whether you have a funny story or poem to share, a song, a dance, a skit, or even playing the spoons … we would love your participation for the enjoyment by all.

Sign up in the Upper Parish Hall at coffee hour or contact Kin Lysaght at kim@thelysaghts.com or 781-237-0709.

This has always been a fun event for all ages. Even if you decide not to join the show … do plan to come to enjoy some flapjacks, fun, and fellowship!

Church ordains the Rev. Jennifer McCracken

Former parishioner Jennifer McCracken was ordained on January 27 at the Cathedral of St. Paul in Boston. It was a glorious and joyful occasion for Jennifer and family and friends, including many from Christ Church.  The congregation included those whom she pastors at the MANNA community and at St. Michael’s in Milton.  The chasuble Jennifer wore on the occasion is a gift from members of the MANNA community … and many hands contributed to creating it!!!

The Rev. Jennifer McCracken, who has been the head pastor to the MANNA community for the past two years, will assume leadership of the MANNA team starting in mid-June and will move to full-time status on the cathedral staff.
