Break through Stigma of Addiction

Come to this powerful community outreach event about addiction and healing at 4 p.m. on October 23.. “Four Legs to Stand On,” is a drama about families and addiction, presented by the Rhode Island group, Creating Outreach About Addiction Together (COAAST). The event encourages us to break the stigma of addiction, so that healing can begin.

Details: Fellowship Hall, Christ Episcopal Church, on Sunday, October 23 at 4 pm.

The 35-minute play explores the dynamics of relationships and addiction. Following the play, Carol Read, Program Coordinator for Substance Abuse Prevention and Education in Needham, will facilitate a conversation with the audience.

A free will offering of $10/person, $30/family is suggested to cover the expenses of bringing the production to Needham. Proceeds over expenses will go to Learn2Cope, a peer-led support network for families dealing with addiction and recovery.
